The experience we have acquired for more than twelve years has taught us a lot to serve you in the best way, but has also caused us to encounter situations that can be described as negative.
The number is increasing both within Turkey and abroad day by day in the recent years of people whithout any qualifications to become an educational institution, as well as to provide service in the field of YÖS preparation, and despite the fact that organizations are called “institutions “, they neither have any knowledge nor any competence concerning technical infrastructure, misleading you dear YÖS candidates by using the lack of knowledge about YÖS.
And, as we will talk about in the following lines, this causes the experience we have gained through intense labor to be illegally used for commercial interests, but more importantly, it prevents YÖS candidates from planning their future correctly.
About 2 years ago, we detected that the name “Metropol Educational Institutions” and “Metropol YÖS Preparation” were used illegally and published an internet announcement.
Then, we sent a letter of notice in writing to some of those who made such illegal declarations, and to some of those who used our publications without permission by copying them completely or piece by piece.
As of today, the current situation of 2 years ago did not change positively, but on the contrary the use by illegal ways of METROPOL YÖS PREPARATION PUBLICATIONS reached a new dimension we cannot ignore.
Persons or organizations who call themselves YÖS teacher, YÖS expert, YÖS institution, YÖS courses and YÖS authors are illegally using and copying all kind of our publishing inventory for commercial interests like our books who do not have new prints in the market, books who are still being sold, tests and trial exams.
We advise those who copy and use some or all of our publications illegally (including legally identified ones) to return from these mistakes as soon as possible. If these persons and institutions do not fulfill their duties as of 2008, legal penalties will be initiated against these persons and institutions.
Our expactation from you, dear YÖS candidates, is to notify us if people and institutions who have applied to illegal ways as we specified in the above line for the respect for our efforts under these circumstances. It matters that you notify us even if it is just one question that you have seen before in any book, test or trial exam in the Metropol YÖS Preparation Publications.
Besides all this, there are institutions to whom we grant “Metropol Educational Institutions YÖS Preparation Courses Dealership Rights” and “Metropol Publications Legal Usage Rights”. As Metropol Educational Institutions and Metropol Publications, we have no hesitation in providing first-hand assistance to every organization that wants sincere support from us in this field.
Finally, we should state that our explanations above do not include institutions or persons who put their knowledge in the field of YÖS preparation to the service of you, dear YÖS candidates, and who do not apply to illegal ways to fulfil their responsibilities.
