Metropol Educational Institutions was established under the name of Metropol Private Teaching Center in 1995 in order to prepare students for YGS, LYS and SBS exams which were called ÖSS, ÖYS and OKS at that time. In the year of 1996 YÖS (examination for foreign students) preparatory courses were added to its constitution. When it comes to the year of 1998 Metropol Publications began publishing YGS, LYS, SBS and YÖS preparatory materials.

Our establishment, which has shown remarkable expansions on account of private teaching and publishing in 2000s, has opened new private teaching centers in Adana, Samsun, Diyarbakır and Kırıkkale; and thus it has helped ten thousands of students study at the leading universities and high schools in Turkey. Because of the high demand to YÖS Preparatory Courses, added to our constitution in 1996, and our wish to specialize in this field; our institution deemed suitable to resign from private teaching for YGS, LYS and SBS but it continued its activities in publishing.

In 2007, SAT, YÇS and TCS courses, alongside YÖS, were included in our university preparatory courses organized for foreign nationals and Turkish citizens living in foreign countries.

Besides, our institution got the permission of organizing Turkish courses for foreign nationals in the same year and became the first private institution in Turkey, which is authorized to give the certificate of efficiency in Turkish approved by Ministry of National Education.

Metropol Publications, which has recently specialized in especially publishing YÖS, YÇS, TCS, SAT preparation and TÖMER issues, is proud of having been the first establishment in these fields.

Additionally, Metropol Web Services Department formed within our institution has been in charge of designing tens of websites and maintaining their technical infrastructure. The department which has also been working on web based technologies started to supply web services to the other educational institutions and firms in addition to ours.

Metropol Educational Institutions, which was established in 1995, has maintained its activities in private teaching and courses, publishing sector, guide and counseling services and web-based technologies for more than 15 years. During this long period that we have left behind, our institution has accomplished introducing and proving itself and reached its current position by receiving your appreciation.

Our institution will keep its principal stance for modernity, institutionalism and productivity during the following period and go on contributing to the education of hundreds of thousands of students in Turkey and the World with pride and confidence derived from being the leading company in its sector.
